Our Story

My name is Zhilong Yang. My journey into the world of brewing didn’t start in a boardroom; it began in a campus brew lab at FIU’s Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management. What started as a simple passion for the craft and a hands-on college course eventually evolved into the career of a lifetime.

2014

Standard Kegs and Equipment grew out of a simple desire to help. I began by importing kegs to help local friends find the gear they needed to keep growing.

However, it quickly became clear that the best way to support the craft community, not just an importer, was to have a local anchor.

2017

First brewhouse system set up. From compact 3bbl to 50bbl, our SKE brewing systems have found homes worldwide.

2023

We established our keg manufacturing plant in Greenville, Texas, to be a supplier you can actually talk to.

I’m a firm believer in knowing your business from the ground up. I’ve spent time working in every position on our production lines — not to make a point, but to ensure I truly understand the "Quality First" standard we promise our partners. By manufacturing in the U.S., we shorten the distance between our factory floor and your taproom, cutting down lead times and ensuring every keg meets American standards.

Orlando Graziosi

Orlando Graziosi is a sales specialist with a background in finance and a deep love for craft brew - with a decade of successful b2b involvement and deep experience in strategy, account development and direct sales, Orlando has helped hundreds of brewers secure their equipment needs. Orlando enjoys a good Netflix binge but can also be found on long bike rides on Florida country roads.

Cody

Cody – Operations & Passivation Lead Cody joined Standard Kegs during our transition to Texas and has been central to our growth ever since. As our resident passivation expert, he oversees the integrity of our stainless steel inventory. Beyond chemistry, Cody is a builder—he has spent his time here systematically assembling and optimizing our factory machinery, ensuring we maintain the highest standard of American craftsmanship in every pallet we ship.

Blake

Blake is our senior welder, the craftsman behind the durability of our fleet. With deep technical knowledge of stainless steel fabrication, Blake ensures that every weld meets our rigorous durability standards. His commitment to technical excellence and structural integrity is a cornerstone of the high-quality equipment we provide to brewers across the nation.

Jacob

Jacob heads our fabrication department, overseeing hydro-pressing and our computerized orbital laser cutting system. His expertise enables us to deliver high-precision, custom-branded kegs tailored to your exact design. With his leadership in chime and keg manufacturing, Jacob ensures quality and innovation in every unit.
